Lucy Rosalie Greci Carrier
went to be with her Lord when she died peacefully on March 7, 2008. Born in Canastota, New York, she was the daughter of Italian immigrants. She attended Cortland State Teachers College, during which time she met her husband of forty-nine years, Leonard Eber Carrier. Lucy was proud of her family, particularly her grandchildren, and is survived by her six brothers and one sister, her four children, Mary (David) Weflen, Bryan (Susan), Daniel (Sachiko) and Karl (Martha), eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Lucy had a kind and generous heart and will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held for Lucy at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Canastota at 10:30 on June 26th. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations in Lucy’s honor be made to the children’s charity of your choice or to the Virgil Rural Cemetery. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
