Margaret M. Alleman, age 51 of Groton, NY passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at her home.Born November 17, 1960 in Huntington, Long Island, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary McNally Schehr. On July 2, 1980 she married Richard Alleman. She received her AS from TC3 and was employed with Building Care at Cornell University prior to disability retirement. Meg is survived by her husband, Richard Alleman of Groton, NY; daughter, Meegan (Michael) Beckley of Groton, NY; son, Ricky (Crystal) Alleman of Brooktondale, NY and daughter, Mary Alleman of Groton, NY; sister, Kathleen (Jack) Margoles of Coral Springs, FL; brother, Michael Schehr of Cortland, NY; brother, James Schehr of Cortland, NY; grandchildren, David Beckley, Kayla Alleman and Lindzey Nicholoson; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Schehr, Jr.Friends are invited to come to a celebration of Meg’s life on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 2 PM at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W.
