Margaret Evelyn Murray

Margaret E. Murray, age 90, of Wake Forest, NC and formerly of Dryden, NY passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at Carillon Assisted Living in Wake Forest.
Born June 6, 1926 in Oswego, NY she was the daughter of the late Henry and Amy Honey Capeling. Margaret was employed as an account coordinator in the School of Chemical Engineering at Cornell University prior to her retirement.
Margaret is survived by her daughter and son in law, Margaret Ann (Pastor) Lugo of Wake Forest, NC; son and daughter in law, James R. (Debra) Murray of Southport, NC; grandchildren, Kevin Lugo, Timothy Lugo and Matthew Murray; three great grandchildren; brother, Clinton (Bessie) Capeling of Liverpool, NY and several nieces and nephews. In addition, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert (Katherine) Capeling
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Wheat officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery, Dryden. Friends may call Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 4-6 pm at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY. A reception, at the Community Restaurant, 10 N. Main St., Cortland, will follow the burial services.
