Marie M. Dayton, age 99, formerly of McLean, NY passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Cortland Regional Nursing Facility. Born at home October 1, 1915 in McLean, NY she was the daughter of the late Harry and Carrie Saulsbury Mineah and wife of the late Robert Dayton who died in 1987. She was a graduate of Cassavant School in McLean and she and her husband, Bob operated a dairy farm in McLean until their retirement.
She was a member of the McLean Community Church. Marie is survived by a nephew, Carl Dayton of Clinton, MT and her good friends, the Converse family of McLean, NY. In addition to her parents and husband, Marie was predeceased by her brother, Bob Mineah.
At Marie's request, graveside services will be held in the spring in McLean
Rural Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be directed to McLean Community Church, PO Box 246, or McLean Fire Dept., PO Box 121, McLean, NY 13102. Perkins Funeral Home is assisting.
