MARILOU J. STETSON, age 65, of So. Plain St., Ithaca, NY passed away and went to be with her
Survivors include her husband, Alton Stetson of Dryden, her son, Andrew (Paula) Stetson of Richford; her daughters, Jodi K. (Timothy) Brazo of Newfield, Victoria Stetson of Ithaca; siblings, Elizabeth (Frank) Baker of Mainesburg, PA, Janice (Klaron) Smith of Cortland, Gerald W. Reusch, Jr. of Albany, NY, Edward T. (Kathy) Reusch of Lindenhurst, NY, Eileen (Raymond)Ledger of Marathon, NY; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Ida M. Silver and a nephew, Jason Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY, with Rev. James Depue officiating. Burial will be private in Parker Street Cemetery, Lapeer, NY. Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 AM Friday at the funeral home prior to the service. Lord on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Cayuga
Medical Center. Marilou was born Feb. 28, 1948 in Cortland and was a daughter of the late Gerald and Louvisa“Vi” Maxwell Reusch. She was raised in Lapeer and had resided in Freeville and Marathon prior to
relocating to Ithaca in 1989. She volunteered at
the Tompkins County Mental Health Clinic with the Starlight group. She was a loving, giving and caring person who would help family and friends without asking for anything in return.
