Marilyn J. Hunt

FREEVILLE, NY - Marilyn J. Hunt, age 57, of 43 Bell Lane, Freeville, NY died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004 at the Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca, NY after a six month illness. Marilyn was born December 4, 1946 in Kenosha, WI a daughter of John Martin and Lois Muellemann Martin. She was employed for 33 years at the Cayuga Medical Center most recently as a medical transcriptionist. She was first and foremost a family person who devoted her time and efforts to helping others.

Survivors include her father, John (Rae Ann) Martin of Mesa, AZ; her mother, Lois Bottoff of Cortland; her children, Elaine Noe of Brooktondale, NY, Gary Brown of Berkshire, NY, Barbara (Michael) Eustice of Freeville, Robert (Nicole) Hunt of Groton and William E. Hunt of Freeville; a sister, Judith A. Boswell and a brother, Mark S. Martin; seven grandchildren; Julie, Bradley, Samantha, Marissa, Brian, Cheyanne and Zachary; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. David C. Robinson officiating. Burial will be private. Friends are invited to call from 7 to 9 PM Friday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY. Friends who wish to remember Marilyn are asked to consider memorials, in lieu of flowers, to Hospicare, 172 East King Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850. Friends are invited to a "dish to pass" reception at the Dryden Veterans Memorial Home following the funeral service.
