MARILYN RUTH RAYMORE,
age 71, a resident of 21 Benjamin Heights, Newfield passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June, 7th at The Cayuga Medical at Ithaca, NY after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Marilyn was raised in Ithaca and recently retired from Ithaca Airline Limousine after 29 years of service. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Unit #961, Finger Lakes Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles Aerie #1253.
Survivors include her sons, Bryan D. (Patricia) Welch of Dryden, Michael Welch of Ithaca and Russell (Tammy) Welch of Jamestown, NY; two daughters, Michele (Eric) Williams of Cape Coral, FL and Jennifer (John) Hanna of Cold Spring, NY; siblings, Richard (Louise) Little, Robert (Priscilla) Edsall, Carole Harvill, Mary Edsall-Golway, John Edsall, Sharon Harrilchak, Linda Edsall; her former husband, Albert Raymore; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Dolores Reynolds and her mother and step-father, Cornelius and Velma Edsall.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, June 13, 2005 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Pastor David Nelson of the Tabernacle Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call from 5 to 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home, 55 West Main, Dryden, NY. A reception will be held at the Ithaca Eagles Aerie#1253 following the funeral and burial.
