MARILYNN JANE BROOKS,
age 73, of Willowbrook Manor, Dryden passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Marilyn was born August 30, 1936 in Endicott, NY a daughter of the late Willie Albert Brooks and Jessie Ethel Silvernaill. She lived for many years in Berkshire and had been a resident of Dryden for the last 30 years. Retired from Smith Corona, Marilynn was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dryden and volunteered with the American Red Cross. Survivors include her son, William (Julie) Brooks of Michigan City, ID; grandchildren, David Kuzmin and Jacob Brooks also of Michigan City and dear close friends, Annette and Thomas Payne of Dryden.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 26, 2009 at The First Presbyterian Church of Dryden with her Pastor, Rev. David C. Robinson, officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial gifts may be made to the Kitchen Cupboard, P.O.
