Marion Elizabeth (Brown) Plumeau
passed away quietly on July 8 after suffering with pneumonia. She was born in Detroit, MI in 1926 and graduated from the Henry Ford School of Nursing in 1947 as an RN. She married Kenneth Plumeau in December of 1949. Marion raised her family in 6 states while following her husband, who was an officer in the US Air Force. She worked as a nurse and was Chief of Nursing at the Iosco County Medical Care Facility before retiring.
Marion was pre-deceased by her husband and is survived by her son David Plumeau and his wife Meg, of Dryden, NY, her daughter Cathryn Counsil and Cathryn’s husband Richard, of Frederic, MI and her sister, Marcia Helen Brown of Asheville, NC. She has 5 grandchildren: Jessica, Joshua (and Kayleigh), and Nathan Plumeau and Brian and Barbara Counsil. There will be no calling hours. A private memorial service for the family will be held in August.
