MARJORIE E. WEHLAND,
76, of 1995 Dryden Road, Freeville, NY died Monday, November 22, 2005 at the Groton Nursing Facility, Groton, NY. Mrs. Wehland was born March 17, 1929 in Newark, NJ a daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Powers Woods. She resided on Dryden Road for more than 30 years and was predeceased by her husbands, Michael Virgadamo and Charles Wehland.
Survivors include her sons; George (Heather) Virgadamo of Dryden, Edward (Patricia) Virgadamo of Fairfield, CT, James J. (Patty) Virgadamo of Freeville; daughters, Sandra Fernon of Virginia Beach, VA, Marjorie (Mark) Youdell of Chesapeake, VA, Maria C. (Chris) Penn of Fridley, MN, Anna L. Whyte of Freeville and Judith Virgadamo of Harford; twenty two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 8 PM Monday evening at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. Rev. Vern E. Spencer will officiate. Friends are invited to call Monday from 7 to 8 PM at the funeral home prior to the funeral. Private burial will be held Tuesday in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY. Memorials are directed to the Groton Res. Care Fac., Residents Memorial Fund, 120 Sykes St., Groton, NY 13073.
