Mark Edward Cleveland

Mark Edward Cleveland, 58 of Dryden, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

Born July 9, 1965 in Glens Falls, NY he was the son of the late Claude and Anna Searles Cleveland. Mark grew up spending his childhood in Lyons Falls, NY and was a graduate of South Lewis Central School in Turin, NY. He enjoyed riding motorcycle, caring for and showing his families horses and hunting with family members. He was a huge Grateful Dead fan. Mark lived and worked as an Electrician in several places around the U.S. He made many friends, in each location, along the way. For many years, he lived in San Diego, CA employed with Berg Electric and most recently with Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY.

Mark is survived by his wife, Terri Sue Starr; brothers, Michael (Renee) Cleveland and Terry (Elizabeth) Cleveland; aunt, Lulubelle Jett; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was especially close to his nephew, Jon Cleveland and niece, Jamie Cleveland. In addition, Mark is survived by his father in law, William Harvey Starr III; mother in law, Virginia Starr; sister in law, Laurie Starr and nieces, Jillian Smith and Lillian Dean.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 in the North River Cemetery, North River, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mark’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
