MARY J. JUERGENS, age 77 of 104 Bossard Rd., Groton, NY passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca, NY.Born June 24, 1934 in Westbury, NY she was one of ten children born to the late Thomas and Madeline Sticco Farina. She married Eric M. Juergens on December 12, 1959 in Westbury. They moved to the area in 1968 and she was a wife, mother and homemaker. Mary is survived by her husband, Eric M. Juergens at home; daughter, Jean (Joe) Miller of Groton, NY and twin grandsons, Alex and Jack Miller; sisters, Theresa Posillico, Madeline Ferrara and Columbine Romuno. She was predeceased by her son, Daniel M. Juergens in 1988 and siblings, Anthony Farina, Frank Farina, twin, Carmela Farina, Philomena Ciborski, Concetta Krawchuk and Margaret Steigele.At Mary’s request there will be no formal service or calling hours.
