Mary LoPinto,
age 80 , formerly of 355 Sheldon Road, Freeville, NY died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Lakeside Nursing Home, Ithaca, NY after an extended illness. Mary was born on July 24, 1927 at Corning, NY, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Cornelia Smith Honness. She was graduated from Dryden High School and later was married to John LoPinto, Esq. Mr. LoPinto passed away March 13, 1988. She was devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed old movies and music.
Survivors include her sons, Joseph (Tracy) LoPinto of Freeville and John (Elizabeth) LoPinto of Jupiter, FL, her daughters, Rosalia Miller of Redbank, NJ, Cornelia (Aldo) Fiocco of Lansing; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Chesley and James Honness, Alice Button, Bess Brown, Martha McCarthy, Annie Deeb, Madeline Brion.
Mary’s family will be present to receive guests from 7 to 9 PM Monday, Feb. 4, 2008 at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden. Burial will be private and at the convenience of family. On a date to be announced there will be a memorial service at the Schutt-Honness reunion in July 2008.
