MARY JOSEPHINE ROMEO,
age 78, of 316 McClintock Road, Dryden, NY passed away Friday, December 6th, 2008 at Northwoods of Cortland. Miss Romeo was born January 3, 1930 at Dryden a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Gelanese Romeo. She was graduated from Dryden High School in 1949 and has been associated with Romeo Farms all of her life. She was a communicant of Holy Cross Church.
Survivors include her brother, Joseph Romeo at home and a great nephew Anthony Romeo of Burnt Hills, NY and a close friend, Tammy Brown. She was predeceased by her sister, Rosa Romeo and her brothers, Nicholas, James and Dominic Romeo of Dryden; a nephew, Douglas Romeo. and several cousins.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Cortland. Arrangements are entrusted to the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
