Maxine Crispell Heffron

MAXINE CRISPELL HEFFRON, age 80, of Main Street, Newfield, NY passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at home after a brief illness. Maxine was born on Dec. 7, 1935 in Caroline, NY and was a daughter of the late Bertram and Mary Mildred Sanderson Crispell. She was predeceased by her husband, Erwin Heffron in February of 2010 and her brothers, Ralph and Herbert Crispell. Survivors include her children, Gary Heffron, Karen (Norman, Jr.) Hoffman, Susan (Jeff) Postle and Rodney (Amy) Heffron; grandchildren, Jennifer Doolittle, Kerri Mead-Bell, Billie Jo Heffron, Kimberly Mead, Daryl Heffron, Jeremy Parker, Shea Heffron, Erwin Heffron and several great-grandchildren; her siblings, Arlene (Rev. Donald) McMillen, Eugene (Joanne) Crispell; sisters-in-law, Kathleen and Rachel Crispell; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, March 26th in Peoples Baptist Church, Newfield, NY with Pastor James Depue officiating. Friends are invited to a reception to be held at the church following the celebration. Burial will at 11 AM, Saturday, March 26th in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are directed to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, NY 13790. Perkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
