Maynard "Bud' Georgia

Maynard Daniel "Bud" Georgia, age 80, of Waterburg Rd., Trumansburg, NY passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at home.
Born April 24, 1935 in Lansing, NY he was a son of the late Ralph R. and Tressa M. Teeter Georgia. Bud was employed with Finger Lakes Electric and was a Barber at his home for many years prior to retirement.
Bud is survived by his loving wife, Marsha L. Hovencamp Georgia at home; a daughter, Kim Poyer of Trumansburg, NY; son, Corey (Kelly) Fitchpatrick of Palm Springs, CA; grandchildren, Ava, Ben, Keely and Matthew; sister, Miriam "Shirl" Doran of East Hazelcrest, IL; brother, Ronald (June) Georgia of Elmira, NY; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving mother, Myrtle Delia Georgia; sister, Diana G. Wagner; brother, Ralph James Georgia; sisters-in-law, Myrna and Helen Georgia; and brother-in-law, Joseph E. Doran.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Hospicare and Palliative Care Services, 172 E. King Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850. Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY is assisting the family.
