Michael L. Adler

FREEVILLE – Michael Lynn Adler, 71 of Freeville, NY passed away unexpectedly on May 28, 2021 at his home.

Born January 17, 1950 in Corning, NY he was the son of the late Bernard and Katie Warner Adler. He graduated from Bradford High School in 1968 and graduated from RIT in Rochester in 1973 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Michael was employed with Transonic in Ithaca prior to retirement.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years, Karen Moore Adler at home; son, Steven Adler; sisters, Carol Densmore-Swarthout (Keith), Diane Manzer-Stahl; brother in law, Dennis Shaver; nephew, Marvin Densmore and family; niece, Barbara Densmore-Swarthout and family; and niece, Colleen Krinsky-Scolari and family. In addition, he was predeceased by his sister, Gayle Shaver.

Friends may call from 10-11 am followed by Funeral services at 11 am, Friday, June 4, 2021 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Pastor James Owens officiating.  Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Corning. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
