Michael E. George

Michael E. George, age 59, of Interlaken, NY passed away unexpectedly, in Spotsylvania, VA, while traveling on Saturday, February 10, 2018.
Born March 29, 1958 in Dryden, NY he was the son of Charles George and the late Betty Jean Davenport George.

Mike was graduated from Dryden High School in 1976 and immediately enlisted in the US Air Force. He was stationed at Alamagodo, NM as an aircraft mechanic for training jets. He was honorably discharged in 1978. He was a motorcycle and marine engine repairman and had been employed with Cayuga Wooden Boatworks and Stivers Seneca Marine in Waterloo, NY.

In addition to his father, Charlie of Cortland, NY, Mike is survived by his daughters, Amy M. (Michael) Rought of Interlaken, NY and Kimberly Houseworth of Florida; three granddaughters and one great granddaughter; brothers, Steven (Shelby) George of Otisco Lake, NY, Jeffery George of Cortland, NY, Brian George of Florida and Terry (Julianna Salerno)George of McLean, NY; many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Little Venice Restaurant in Trumansburg, NY, today, Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 4 pm until.
