Michael James Parks

Michael J. Parks, age 37, of Ithaca, NY passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 9, 2018.
Born May 2, 1980 in Cortland, NY he was the son of Rosemary Parks and the late Steven Young. Michael was a union painter in Ithaca, NY. He loved nature especially, fishing, gardening, bird watching with his Mom, and wrestling. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and WWE fan.
In addition to his mother, Rosemary of Ithaca, NY, Michael is survived by his wife, Jessica Reeves Parks at home; siblings, Jason (Lisa) June of Odessa, NY and Daryl Cole of Ithaca, NY; Tonya (Stephen) Brown of Waynesboro, TN; Sandra (Sean) Sharples of Auburn, NY, and Steven (Jennifer) Young of Auburn, NY; grandparents, Paul (Gloria) Hurne of Enfield, NY; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, aunts and an uncle. In addition to his Father, he was predeceased by his grandfather, Pete Parks.
Friends are invited to call from 1-2 pm followed by a memorial service at 2 pm on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Rev. Robert Canino officiating.
