MICHAEL ANTHONY SIMMONS,
age 19, of 47 Main St., Freeville, NY died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 as the result of a boating accident in Farmersville, Texas. Michael was born April 7, 1990. He attended Dryden Central School and Covenant Love Community School. Michael had a generous heart, made friends out of strangers, never pre-judged and will be sorely missed by those who knew him. We miss you Mike.
He is survived by his parents, Jean and Richard Simmons and his twin brother, Dan Simmons all of Freeville, NY; brother, Richard (Shannon) Simmo ns, Jr. of NC and sister, Tina (Tom) Linder of MD. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, a large extended family and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm, Saturday, April 18, 2009 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, corner of Court and Aurora St., Ithaca, NY with Rev. Margie Mayson officiating. Mike’s family will greet their friends at a brief reception at church after the memorial service.
