Pearl Burke, 69, of Ithaca, died Saturday, March 10, at home, after bravely enduring a battle with cancer. Her husband, Robert W. Burke, was at her side. Mina was a unique soul whose smiles and laughter touched the lives of everyone who knew her. The family is also extremely grateful to Dr. Charles Garbo and his staff for all their help throughout Mina’s fight..

In addition to her husband she is survived by her two sons, Larry (Dianne) and Richie (Karin), her grandchildren, Chrissy, Cyndi, Courtney, Katie, and Richie; great-grandchildren, McKayla, Zoie, Zayvion, Zayden, Zaybriel. Her mother, Mary E. Woodin, also survives her, as well siblings Don (MaryLou) Woodin, Sharon (Ken) Sandlan and Karen Dufresne, and a sister-in-law, Frances Schaeffer; a brother-in-law, Linden Burke; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Lawrence Woodin and a brother, Phillip Woodin.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, March 14 at the Perkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Quick Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are directed to Hospicare, or the Slaterville Emergency Squad, or the Cancer Resource Center. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
