MONTANA GOODSELL, age 62, of N. Tioga Street, Ithaca, NY passed away, Friday, January 9, 2015 at the Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca after a brief illness. Montana was born Sept. 29, 1952 a daughter of the late Edward and Anna Randall. She enjoyed living in the rural areas and was employed at several farms prior to relocating to Ithaca in 1983.She loved animals and had owned many dogs and cats during her life.
Montana was a friendly and easy going person who never argued with anyone. She was always smiling and never shirked a task.
Survivors include her daughters, Rose Marie Randall and Jody Glazier; friends and companions, Robert W. Munch and Mary Reynolds; her sisters, Amy Moore and Frances (Al) Cobanis, Beverly (Joe) Price; brothers, Joe (Betty) Goodsell, Harry (Nina) Goodsell and John Kern as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to visiting hours Friday, Jan 16th from 1:30 Am to 2 PM, at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West main St. with a funeral to follow at 2 PM. Burial, delayed until spring, will be in West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne, NY. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider a memorial in Montana’s name to the SPCA.
