Nanette Marie Morano-Pawelko

NANETTE MARIE MORANO PAWELKO, age 62, of Cortland, NY passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016. "Nan" was born September 20, 1954 in Binghamton the daughter of the late Lester and Loretta Jean Conrow Morano. A 1972 graduate of Dryden High School, Nan earned her Nursing Assistant Degree from Tompkins Cortland Community College. Prior to becoming ill, earlier this year, she had been employed at Price Chopper in Cortland. She was married to David Brotherton and later to Randolph "Randy" Pawelko. Nan was a fun loving and kind person.
Survivors include her husband, Randy; her daughter, Jessica Brotherton (Craig) Dingy of Savanna, NY; a granddaughter, Autumn Dingy and a grandson, Gage Dingy; her brothers, Michael (Beth) Morano of Freeville and Lester James (Shelley Goodman) Morano of St. Petersburg, FL; nieces, Megan E. Morano of Nashville, TN, Terry (Daniel) Lacey of Utah; nephews, Christopher M. Morano of Freeville, Aaron (Jane ) Morano, Robert (Katherine Tecler) Morano, James M. (Grace Pine) Morano; aunts; uncles and several cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden, NY. Friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 PM Friday. Memorials, in lieu of flowers are directed to Hospicare, 172 E. King Road, Ithaca, NY 14850.
