NENA M. HALL,
age 57, of 384 Enfield Main Road, Ithaca, NY died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born August 4, 1953 in Cortland, NY, she is the daughter of the late Gordon H. and Ruth Yarrison Griswold. Nena had been employed with the NYS Parks System, working at Robert Treman State Park for 20 years. She was an artist and enjoyed painting, the outdoors and growing flowers, she especially loved her years working at the Park.
Nena is survived by her partner and soul mate of 21 years, R. Andrew “Bird” Farrell of Enfield, NY; her son, Rev. Jody (Terri) Hall of Phoenix, AZ; her daughter, Mandy Brooks of Enfield, NY; grandchildren, Kasandra Hall, Devin Brooks and Cody Steels; brother, Michael (Annette) Griswold of Trumansburg, NY; niece, Marie Mae Griswold; nephew, Kevin Griswold; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
At her request, there will be no formal services. Friends are invited to come and share in a time of remembrance from 4-7 PM, Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W.
