PATRICIA CUTTING DINGLER FREEOVE, age 84, recently of Fort Pierce, Florida and formerly of Ithaca, NY passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 at the Treasure Coast Hospice after a lengthy illness. "Pat" was born August 7, 1930 in Stockton, NY, a daughter of the late Ralph and Bridie Fay Evans Cutting. A local area resident for nearly her entire life, Pat was graduated from Newark Valley High School and was last employed at Ithaca College.
Her greatest loves were Jesus & her family. Our Mom was and still is in memory, a vibrant, lively and loving person. She loved her parents for who they were and passed this on to her children along with her positive attitude and the ability to think and act poetically.
Survivors include her children, Nancy L. (Kevin) Klein of Erie, CO, John D. Dingler of Boulder, CO, Towana J. Dingler of Ithaca, Michael A. (Lucy) Dingler of Boulder, CO, Timothy M. Dingler of Longmont, CO, Wendy G. (James) Andrus of Binghamton, Donald G. Dingler of Brooktondale, NY, Todd P. Dingler of Lafayette, CO, Kathryn S. (George) Burenga of Fort Pierce, FL, and Kyle S. Dingler of Erie, CO; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Vivian M. Paddock of Ithaca and Rita N. Rich of Enfield, NY as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands, John Dingler and Ray Freelove; brothers, Eugene, Terence and R. James Cutting; a sister Eileen Goodband and a grandson Christopher Michael.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, January 17th at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden, NY where friends are invited to call Saturday prior to the funeral from 10 to 11 AM. Burial will be in Speedsville Cemetery.
