Patricia A. Keller Porter, age 77, of Dutcher Rd., Freeville, NY went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born May 3, 1937 in Cortland, NY she was the daughter of the late Azel and Ruby Sutliff Keller.
Pat is survived by her husband, Robert W. Porter at home; daughters, Faith Carrie (Andy) Smith and Gail Lidamay (David) Lang all of Cortland, NY; grandchildren, Ian R. Petrie, Joshua Petrie, Caleb Smith, AbiGail Smith , Kelly Lang and Alicia (Matt) Henderson; sisters in law, Mary Ann Keller (Dave) Christofferson and Lois Keller; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur J. Keller and Lyle Keller.
Funeral services will be held at 4 pm, Friday, August 22, 2014 at CHURCH OF THE REDEEMER, TOMPKINS ST. CORTLAND with Pastor John Iler, Pastor Andy Smith and Rev. Mick Leary officiating. Friends may call from 12-4 pm prior to the service at the Church. "If you don?t have an hour to be blessed with some of Pat?s favorite songs, you are excused from coming,? J Aunt Pat. You are all still invited to attend committal services at 6 pm at WILLOW GLEN CEMETERY, DRYDEN, and/or the Home Going Celebration of God?s Great Faithfulness, to be held at 7 pm at NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH OF PERUVILLE, NYS RT. 34B, GROTON for fellowship and sharing memories with family and friends.
