PAULINE E. DAVIS, age 89, a long time resident of Slaterville and Caroline area went to join her husband, Rowland L. (Bow) Davis in heaven on Friday, July 26, 2013. Pauline grew up in the Candor/Willseyville area and always had fond memories of the times she had growing up. She often would tell stories of the fun she had there with her sister, Esther, and her cousin, Laura Stevens Gregrow and many other friends.
Pauline also shared many stories of when she worked at the Ithaca Pocketbook Factory and The Fish Market. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking, crocheting and knitting.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary (Philip) Terwilliger; grandsons, Ted Terwilliger and Shawn (Andrea) Terwilliger; two great-granddaughters, Elliyanna and Sofia Terwilliger; brothers, Bruce Covert and George Stevens; a sister, Ginny Stevens; two special nieces, Carolyn and Loraine; a special nephew, John and many more nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Luther Stevens and Mary Overbaugh; her sisters, Helen Wilcox, Hazel Howard and Esther Nash.
Private funeral services will be held at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. Burial will be in Charles Mulks Cemetery. Those wishing to remember Pauline are asked to consider a memorial gift to the Slaterville Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 190, Slaterville Springs, NY 14881.
