Raya E. Eggleston, age 74, of Harford, NY passed away, Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at the Cayuga Medical Center after a brief illness. Raya was born March 25, 1938 in Warren Center, PA, a daughter of the late Sylvenus and Alberta (Nichols) Gower. A 38 year resident of Harford, Raya was retired from Pall Trinity after 32years of service and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 1134 and the Dussenberry Rod and Gun Club.

An avid horseshoe enthusiast she also enjoyed dancing the polka.Survivors include her children, Mike Dunckley, Gordon Soper and Vince (Genny Leone) Soper; her sister, Lorna J. Van Kuren; grandchildren, Kelsie and Kyle Dunckley, Tricia and Dustin Soper, Missty Leonard, Matthew (Desire) Soper, Jessica Leone; great-grandson, Gunnison Leonard; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Craig Soper; a daughter, Bonnie Soper; a daughter-in-law, Christine Holcomb and a grandson-in-law, Dan Leonard.
Friends are invited to a remembrance gathering to be held at 3 PM, Saturday, January 5, 2012 at the Dryden Veterans Memorial Home, 2262 Dryden Road, Dryden, NY.
