Raymond L. Hamilton

Raymond Lester Hamilton, age 55, of Dryden passed away on September 14, 2016 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA, with his wife and daughters by his side. Born on October 5, 1960 in Ithaca, NY, he was a son of the late Edward L. and Delores N. Bickham Hamilton.
Raymond attended Ithaca High School and was employed there as a groundskeeper for 28 years, retiring in August 2016. He had many hobbies including R/C cars, football, playstation, camping, fishing, golfing, flying, and trips on his Harley. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, Sage.
Raymond, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Karen, his daughters; Sheena Hamilton of Lansing, Vanessa Hamilton of Cortland, his Granddaughter Sage Hamilton; his siblings, William (Emilia) Hamilton, Beverly Ryant, Edward Hamilton, Elaine Dodson, Deborah (Mike) Burdorf, Jeffrey Hamilton, Pamela (Edward) O'Connor; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 11 am until 1 pm at Perkins Funeral Home 55 W. Main Street, Dryden, NY. A Celebration of Life will follow at Dryden Fire Dept. 26 North Street, Dryden, NY until 4 pm.
