RAYMOND C. SCUTT, JR., known to most as “Jigger”,age 66, of 5 Neptune Drive, Dryden, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at his home. Born in Cortland he is a son of the late Raymond C. and Inez Dellow Scutt. Prior to his disability, he had been employed with O’Shea Tire and had been a truck driver for many years.
Survivors include his brothers, Gary L. (Laura) Scutt of Groton, Rick C. Scutt of Summerhill, sisters, Glenna M.(Richard)Hill of Cortland, Brenda R. (Keith)Hill of Florida and Donna F.(Gary) Bouck of Moravia; his children, Patrick C. Scutt of Enfield, Victoria Goodyear of New Mexico and Penny Strain of New Mexico; step children, John J.(Kathy) Robinson of Locke and Timothy J. Robinson of Rochester; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; cousins, Rondi Edwards, Julie VanGorder, Lorna Cass and Renee Thornton and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by his first wife, Edith McNeil Scutt and his second wife, Joan Knight Robinson Scutt.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, Dec. 31, 2010 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Donald D. Evans officiating. Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY.
