RAYMOND E. SOVOCOOL, 51,
of 85 Ogden Rd., Groton, NY, died unexpectedly Monday, August 22, 2005 at work.
Born February 27, 1954 in Cortland, NY, he was a son of Richard P. Sovocool and the late Helen I. Adams Sovocool. He was employed with Ridley’s Book Bindery.
In addition to his father of McLean, Ray is survived by his siblings, Richard, Michael, Scott, Jeremiah and Arthur Sovocool and Karen Sovocool, Darla Eggleston and Sandra O’Flanagan, aunts, uncles and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, August 26, 2005 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY, with Rev. John Iler officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Willow Glen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 pm Thursday, and from 12 to 1 pm prior to the service.
