RAYMOND J. SUTFIN,
age 68, of 635 Midline Road, Freeville, NY died Thursday, March 7th, 2007 at his residence after a brief illness. Ray was born March 16, 1938 at Dryden, a son of the late John and Mabel Cornelius Sutfin. Ray was employed for many years at Morse Chain and later at Emerson Power Transmission. He was a life area resident who enjoyed racing stock cars and hunting.
Survivors include his son, Mitch (Brenda) Sutfin; his daughter Rose Sutfin both of Freeville; his siblings, Maynard (Shirley) in Tennessee, Kenneth (Ina Mae) of McLean, George (Sandy) of Ithaca, David, Henry, Archie (Brenda), Gene (Ann) and Donald (Kim) all of Freeville and Ruth Sutfin of So. New Berlin, NY; nieces; nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis J. Brown Sutfin and a brother, Frank Sutfin.
The family will be present to receive their friends from 7 to 8 PM Monday at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden. Burial, delayed until spring, will be in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Memorials are graciously directed to the charity of one’s choice.
