Richard Frederick Bailey

RICHARD F. BAILEY, age 79, of Dryden passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 at his residence. Richard was born January 11, 1938 in Ithaca a son of the late Horace and Helen Fish Bailey. He was graduated from Dryden High School and worked for Victory Markets and later at Great American and Dryden Food Market as a meat cutter. Dick was a member and Past Master of Dryden Lodge #472, F.&A.M. and Neptune Hose Company No. 1 of Dryden, Inc. where he was a Honored Member having joined in 1956 and was the recipient of many Fire Dept. awards. He was a life Dryden resident who enjoyed NASCAR and all forms of automobile racing.
Richard was predeceased by his parents and his aunt and uncle, Kenneth and Miriam Fish. He is survived by many friends including Glen and Bonnie Canfield and a few cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 7 PM, Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Neno officiating. Burial will be private on Friday at Willow Glen Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 5 to 7 PM, Thursday at the funeral home prior to Masonic Services given by members of Dryden Lodge. Memorials are directed to Dryden Fire Department, P.O.
