RITA ANNE THOMAS,
age 61, of 421 Harford Road, Dryden, NY, beloved wife of Robert J. Thomas, died suddenly of natural causes on Monday, July 12, 2004 at her residence. Rita was born August 4, 1942 at Detroit, MI a daughter of the late John and Veronica Vertalka Miglin. She was graduated from Robichaud High School in Dearborn Heights, Michigan and received her Nursing Degree from Tompkins Cortland Community College. Rita and Robert were husband and wife for forty-three years.
Survivors include her husband; their son, Timothy J. (Karen) Thomas of
Bealton, VA; their daughter; Lori M. (Peter) McConnell of Fairfax, VA; a
brother, Wallace (Kathy) Miglin of Manhattan Beach, CA; a sister, Carole (Gary) Caloia of Chesterfield, MI; grandchildren, Kyle and Morgan Thomas, Christopher and Matthew McConnell; nieces and nephews.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family. There were no calling hours. Those wishing to remember Rita are asked to consider
memorials, in lieu of flowers, to The Dryden United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 193, Dryden, NY 13053-0193. Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY assisted the family.
