ROBERT J. CANAVAN,
age 54, of 317 Scofield Road, Freeville, NY passed away Thursday, Jan. 9, 2009 at home. Robert was born March 28, 1954 in Cortland, NY a son of the late Arthur and Carlene Wilcox Canavan. On August 4, 2001 he was married to the former Rose Doty at Nineva, NY.
Survivors include his wife, Rose at home, his children, Jenniffer (Eric) Eggleston of Moravia, Joshua (Rosa Hamilton) Canavan of Freeville, Stephanie (Jose Andros) Meyer of Saskatoon, Canada; his siblings, Janet (Paul) Owens of Cortland, Sandy (Edward) Wells of King Ferry, David (Susan) Canavan, Birch Tree, MO, Donna (Sweeney) Condo of Quebec, Canada; a brother-in-law, Don Foster of Moravia; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, James Canavan and a sister, Ann Canavan Foster.
Bob’s family will be present to receive their friends on Saturday, Jan 10, 2009 from 2 to 4 PM at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY.
