Robert Sprague (Bob) Donnelly

Robert Sprague Donnelly, age 94, of Dryden, NY passed away Saturday, January 15, 2021 at his home after a brief illness.

He was born March 11, 1927 in Interlaken, NY the son of the late William and Julia Sprague Donnelly. On August 26, 1961 he married Anna Brancotti who passed away in 2014. He and his late wife, Annie were residents of Dryden and Bob was retired from Cornell University Facilities.

Bob is survived by his children, April (Jack – deceased) Kampney of Cortland, NY, Martin Day of Dryden, NY, Sue (Harold) Bryant of Scotia, NY; Kim (Jeff) Schenck of Dryden, NY; and Cheryl Donnelly of Tampa, FL; nine grandchildren, Tim Carberry, Lisa Carberry, Katelin Kampney, Christopher Ostrom, Suzie Homrighaus, Bryan Schenck, John Schenck, Elim Schenck and Ethan Schenck and nine great grandchildren; a niece and several nephews.

There are no calling hours or services.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Dryden Veterans Memorial Home Ritual Team, 2272 Dryden Rd., Dryden, NY 13053 or Hospicare and Palliative Care Services, 172 East King Road, Ithaca, NY  14850. Perkins Funeral Home assisted the family.
