Robert l. Morehouse,
age 83, formerly of Creamery Hills Apartments, Harford, NY passed away, Friday, July 16, 2010 at University Hospital, Syracuse, NY. Born April 15, 1927, he was a son of the late Grover and Jeannette Batsford Morehouse. Bob served in the US Navy during World War II. He was retired from Smith Corona and was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Douglass Morehouse.
Survivors include his son, Tim Morehouse of Whitney Point and his daughter, Barbara Morehouse of Melbourne, FL; a brother, Jim (Julia) Morehouse of Groton; four sisters, Ruth (Joe) DeLong of Arizona, Marie (Morris) Leonard of Moravia, Sara Bush of Groton and Ruby Scalia of Trumansburg; several nieces and nephews including Brenda McIntosh-Clark of Homer; nieces and nephews.
Graveside military services were held today at Cortland Rural Cemetery. Perkins Funeral Home assisted the family.
