ROSE MARIE MASON,
age 63, of 38 Ford Hill Road, Lansing, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006 at her residence after a short illness. Mrs. Mason was born October 6th, 1942 at Ithaca a daughter of Violet M. Russell Tanner DaBall of Groton and the late Paul Tanner. Rose attended Dryden Schools and has been a life area resident. She was employed years ago at Ridley Book Bindery and at Borg-Warner. She enjoyed gardening and garage sales. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Lee Mason of Lansing, her children, Lloyd Wing, Jr., Michael Wing, Diane (Mark) Ficher, Lisa Wing, Tina (Jeffrey) June; her siblings, David Tanner, Jane (Marvin) Vieou of Homer, NY, Dawn (Rev. Robert) Hill of Watkins Glen and Janice (Stephen) Jones of Groton. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Monday, Feb. 13, 2006 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Hill officiating. Burial, delayed, will be in Lansingville Cemetery, Lansing, NY. Friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 PM Sunday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY.
