Roxanna E. Barnum, age 77 of Ithaca, NY passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, NY.
Born June 21, 1944 in Cortland, NY she was the daughter of the late George L. and Hilda K. Hall Hatfield. She was retired, after 38 years, from Cornell University. For the last 21 years she was employed with Veterinary Multi-Imaging in Lansing and was passionate about family, friends, playing cards and shopping. She also loved to travel, dance, cook and bake.
Roxanna is survived by her daughter, Kathyleen (Dan) DeLucia of Dryden, NY; grandchildren, Joseph DeLucia of Bothell, WA and Emily DeLucia of Williamsville, NY; brother, Roger Hatfield; sister, Rosemary Saltsman; brother in law, James Wise; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is also survived by her cats, Tuffy, Buffy and Onyx. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Roderick Hatfield, Roberta Wise, Roscoe “Rocky” Hatfield and Ronald Hatfield.
