ROY V. CARLSON,
age 78, of 303 Cessna Street, Sayre, PA and formerly of Dryden, NY passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Mr. Carlson was born August 27, 1930 in the Bronx, NY and was the son of the late Harry and Ebba Bjork Carlson. He was a retired manager of the Sears Automotive Dept. In Huntington, NY.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ruth Carlson of Sayre; a son, Roy Carlson of Melbourne, FL and a daughter Bonnie Carlson of Cortland, NY.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 12 at 11 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 622 1/2 South Main St., Athens, PA with the Pastor Nelson Kopatz officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, Feb 12 from 10:30-11 AM at the church and a luncheon will follow after the service there as well. Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden assisted the family.
