Sabrina Lynn Spaulding

Sabrina L. Spaudling, 47, of Cortland passed away Monday, April 15, 2024.

Born November 7, 1976 in Cortland, New York, she was the daughter of the late Victor Welch and Loretta Knapp Welch.

Sabrina worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Groton Nursing Home where she loved taking care of those in need with her huge heart. Sabrina had a massive love for animals, especially her cats and her dog Luna; who she brought everywhere. She always wanted something to do and aspired to become a Veterinarian. After being diagnosed with cancer, Sabrina lived a hard life, although she beat it it take a huge toll. Sabrina loved sunflowers, and spending time with her kids along with her fiance, Walter Witty, but she was most excited for their wedding in just a couple months. Sabrina was always willing to help anyone in need and loved people as much as she loved animals. She had the biggest heart anyone could have.

Sabrina is survived by her children, Damian and Chloe Spaulding; her grand-daughter, Selina Lee; her mother, Loretta Knapp; her fiance, Walter Witty; and her childhood best friend, Kathleen Bell.
