Sally A. (Strack) Knapp

Sally A. Knapp, age 86 formerly of Little York, NY went to be with the Lord on March 13, 2024 at Iroquois Nursing Home in Jamesville, NY.

Born May 1, 1937 in McGraw, NY she was the daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy Rood Strack. She graduated from Homer High School in 1955 and married Norman L. Knapp on June 25, 1960. Norm passed away December 30, 2015. Sally was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Cortland where she served on the mission committee, hospitality committee and was a member of the choir.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Judy (Stan) Wnuk of Owego, NY; her son, Brian (Becky) Knapp of Alexandria, VA; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her brother, David (Nancy) Strack of Ft. Myers, FL, and many nieces and nephews. In addition, she was predeceased by her brother, Bill (Arlene) Strack.

A Celebration of Sally’s Life with visitation will be held from 2-4:30 pm on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY. Friends and family are invited to come encourage the family during these hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Church Missions Fund.
