Salvatore (Sal) Indelicato, Jr. passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2014, with loved ones by his side. Born August 27, 1917 in New York City, he was the son of Salvatore and Angelina Cuccia Indelicato. Growing up during the depression, Sal quit high school and worked several odd jobs to help his family. He later attended night classes and earned his high school diploma. Sal met the love of his life, Hildegard, in 1935 while he was working in the building trade, and they married June 16, 1940.
