Sharon E. Dorman

SHARON E. DORMAN, age 54, of 15 Greystone Drive, Dryden, NY died Thursday, May 27, 2004 at her residence after a year and a half battle with cancer. Sharon was born Feb. 1, 1950 in Jamestown, NY and is a daughter of Lawrence C. Larson of Jamestown and the late Mary Constance Foley Larson. She was graduated from Jamestown High School in 1968 and on Nov. 2, 1974 was married to John Thomas Dorman. Mr. and Mrs. Dorman were residents of Jamestown until relocating to Dryden in 1989. Sharon was the Business Office Coordinator of the Faculty Student Association at Tompkins Cortland Community College.

Survivors include her father; Larry (Ethelyne) Larson of Jamestown; her husband, J. Thomas Dorman of Dryden; her daughters, Katie R. (Pete) Chapman of Groton and Emily C. Dorman of Dryden; her siblings, Patricia (Abraham) Rosenberg of Jamestown and Timothy (Terry) Larson of Balston Spa, NY; her grandson, the "apple of her eye", Gage Thomas Chapman; nieces and nephews.

Her family will be present to receive their friends from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday, June 1, 2003 at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. A private celebration of Sharon’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2004. Burial will follow in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden.
