Shirley Meadors

Shirley Meadors of Homer, NY passed away August 21, 2024, just 6 days short of her 100th birthday.

Born August 27, 1924 in Homer, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. Smith and Marion (Cook) Smith. On May 26, 1951, she was married to Adolphus Meadors in Ithaca, NY, who predeceased her. She was a graduate of Homer High School and was employed with the Crescent Corset Co. in Cortland. She attended Homer Baptist Church.

Shirley is survived by her son Steve Odum; granddaughters, Joanee Jenkins and Fenice Coleman; great grandchildren, Braydan Dewey and Raziah Cox, among other extended family members and friends. Shirley is predeceased by her daughter, Lenae Osterhoudt.

At her request, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
