SPENCER ARTHUR MOSE,
age 75, of Southworth Road, Dryden, NY entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center. “Bud” was born January 8, 1935 in Rathbone, NY a son of the late Willard J. and Edith Tompkins Mose. Bud was graduated from Addison High School in 1952 and served in the US Air Force from 1957 to 1961. On Feb. 4, 1961 he was married to the former Louise Dedrick at Dryden. Spencer was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter 811 and the Dryden Senior Citizens.
Spencer was a licensed pilot and loved flying small aircraft and his ultra light aircraft. He also built and flew model radio controlled airplanes. He was employed for many years at the Dedrick Jersey Farm and Case Equipment. Later he was employed by various area farmers.
Bud is survived by his loving wife, Louise at home, his daughters, Cynthia Mose of Alexis, NC and Sandra Stone of Toledo, Ohio; two grandsons, Jason Kinney and Kevin Stone; a sister, Virginia Howard of Endicott and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Vivian Dedrick.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are directed to the Gideons International , P.O.
