Stephen R. Wood

Stephen R. Wood, 67 of Brooktondale, NY passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at home.

Born December 20, 1953 in Barton, NY he was a son of the late Kenneth and Betty Brown Wood. Steve worked construction, loved hunting and fishing, watching Westerns and four wheelin with his grandkids.  Steve served with the US Army and was a member of Dryden VFW Post 8158.

Steve is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathleen Myers Wood; four sons, Mike (Michelle) Piotti, Kevin Piotti, Aaron (Ania) Wood and Kendon (Alica Ribble) Wood; brothers, Keith Wood and Randy (June) Scott; sister, Sherrie (Dirk) Saltzgaber; grandchildren, Marissa (fiance` Jake Wansor) Piotti, Seth Piotti, Liam Piotti, Aaron Wood Jr. and Kolyn Wood; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Lanny, Christopher and Michael.

A private Celebration of Steve’s Life will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Online condolences at www.perkinsfh.com
