Terry (Toad) George

November 30, 1963 — December 16, 2024

Terry George aka Toad, age 61, passed away on December 16th at home surrounded by family and friends. Born on November 30th, 1963. He worked for Manos restaurant of Ithaca, NY and  Perfect Painters- Heritage Builders of Ithaca for nearly 20+ years and did odd jobs over the years.

He was survived by his oldest daughter Amber George (Delaney) her boyfriend Cody of Dryden, NY, her 7 children, Johanna, Tyler ,Olivia Graham of Groton, NY, Nevaeh and Jaxson Gillette of Lansing, NY,  Anastasia Thompson and Adalynn George-Judson of Dryden, NY; his oldest son, Joshua George of Binghamton, NY, and his daughter, Dilynn George of Cortland, NY; his daughter and her husband Hunter and Brandon Watkins and their 4 children, Lyric, Athenae, Phenyx and Jasper Watkins of Kansas; his youngest son, Zile George of Dryden, NY; his brothers Brian George of Florida, Steve George and Jeff George of Cortland, NY; many nieces and nephews and many friends.

Terry was predeceased by his mother, Betty Davenport, his father, Charlie George, and his brother Mike George.

He loved to fish and hunt and he liked going on road trips. He also liked to ride bikes. He was an outdoorsman, and you could not catch him inside for too long. His grandbabies were everything to him. They were his life just as well as his children. He also took in a lot of his children's friends as his own. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his kids or his grandbabies. He was always willing to help anyone at any time of day, day or night.

At this time there are no services, a celebration of life will be announced and be held at a later date.
