THELMA A. CORNELIUS,
age 79, of Snyder Hill Road, Ithaca, NY passed away April 14, 2006 at the Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca. Having moved here from Pensacola, FL, Thelma was a long time area resident and was employed for 45 years at the Tompkins County Hospital. She was a supervisor of environmental services at the time of her retirement. Survivors include her son, Glenn E. Cornelius, Jr. of Bemus Point, NY; a daughter, Frances Jean Frey of Dunkirk, NY; grandchildren, Glenn E. Cornelius, III, Caroline Cornelius, Nancy Colenbenback, Daniel Frey, James Frey; many nieces and nephews, in-laws and very dear and close friends, James (Lisa) Proper of Groton and Erin (Bill) Mix of Dryden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the Perkins Funeral Home, with Rev. Dale Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden.
