Thelma B. Rehbein

THELMA B. REHBEIN ,age 83, of Groton and formerly of McLean, NY died Friday, December 21, 2007 at the Groton Nursing Facility, Groton, NY. Mrs. Rehbein was born March 27th, 1924 in Truxton, NY a daughter of the late Seymour and Iva Mae Hamilton Bush. She was the wife of Michael Rehbein, Sr. who passed away Feb. 11, 1983. Thelma was employed for 25 years as a Kick Press Operator at Smith Corona. She was a long time resident of Malloryville and lived in her later years at Center Village Court in Groton. Thelma was a communicant of Holy Cross Church, Freeville. Thelma had been a Cub Scout Den Mother and was an avid bowler, card player and enjoyed horse racing, fishing and camping.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Rehbein, Jr. of Louisville, KY, Paul Rehbein of Mattydale, NY, Francis (Kathy) Rehbein of York Haven, PA, Harry (Theresa) Rehbein of McLean and Keith (Crystal) Rehbein of Cortland; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerald (Mary) Bush; two sisters, Alice (Ken) Marks and Mary (Leland) Cook; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral Mass will be offered at 11 AM Thursday, December 27th, 2007 at Holy Cross Church, 375 George Road, Freeville, NY. Friends are invited to call from 7 to 9 PM Wednesday, Dec. 26th at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY and from 10 to 11 AM Thursday at the church prior to the Mass.
